Ouachita Grand Plaza

Located by the Ouachita River, this historic circa 1924 building, unique with its Jacobean architecture, was once the home of Ouachita Parish High School. Expansive windows, impressive views, soaring ceilings, spacious living areas, and beautifully decorated wide-open hallways reflect Grand Plaza’s historic past. Residents enjoy an enclosed courtyard and lush, landscaped garden near the main entrance. Each residence is equipped with energy-efficient kitchen appliances including range/oven and refrigerator/freezer. Other features include central heat and air, window privacy blinds, smoke detectors, and emergency pull cords in bedroom and bath. Grand Plaza’s location in the heart of downtown gives residents unparalleled access to doctors and the medical community. This historic downtown area is also rich in cultural and recreational venues including River Walk, art festivals, Masur Museum and an impressive collection of properties recorded in the National Historic Register.
